Parc de la Villette
A photo for the weekend:
This is some probably useless construction in the Parc de la Villette, a massive park with all sorts of wierd stuff that makes you feel like you've walked into either the future, a film set, or UNSW. Mostly, I just liked the photo!

We had APEC pubic holiday on Friday, so for me it became a photo for the new week. How was London? Are you watching any of the rugby?
Hi Annika! Lucky you guys- APEC is obviously doing some good then! London is a long story- we had to postpone the trip, so we had a nice long weekend here instead- deciding to keep with the original plan of not going to work on Friday!
Watched the Aus match at the Australian pub- really good! Less happy here with the result of the France-Argentina game though, but anyway...

Ha Ha Go the Argies! It was a shock to everyone I think. Less of a shock was the crushing defeat of Japan. Thanks for the SMS too Jen - I would have replied, but the mobile traffic in Tumut is frustratingly one way.
How is the atmosphere in Paris? Is there a buzz like 2003 or 2000 in the streets?
